Storehouse

The Plymouth Vineyard Storehouse covers several different ventures…

Storeboxes

Every week as part of our worship members of the church community bring in foodstuffs and essential items and put it in a box. These then go to make up hampers which we then deliver to people who would benefit from them. We are currently helping lots of individuals who are moving on from residential units as well as young families in need.

The Children’s Storehouse

We collect good quality second-hand baby equipment that is recycled and redistributed free of charge to families who have need of them.  At present most referrals are from Children’s Centres, key workers and the Crisis Pregnancy Centre. We are open every Wednesday morning 10am-12 if you want to drop stuff off, or email storehouse@plymouthvineyard.org.uk

“There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.”  – Mahatma Gandhi .

Outreach

We have a team who visit a rehab facility once a term to provide a ‘pampering’ morning for the women there.  We offer haircuts, hand massages, nice cake and coffee, but most of all love. Supporting charities Plymouth Vineyard Church has a commitment to other charities near and far.  At present, it regularly supports the Plymouth Pregnancy Crisis Centre, Gilead, Shekinah Mission, Ivybridge Youth For Christ, Street Pastors, and Plymouth Focus Advice Centres.  It also has links with a project in Burundi known as Great Lakes Outreach and churches in Peru.
